About

Senior Software Engineer with a proven record of designing, delivering and operating high-quality software for enterprise customers. I combine strong technical craftsmanship with product-minded thinking.

My career started at Pyxisnet Limited (Bangladesh–Denmark JV) and progressed into platform and CMS engineering at Stibo DX (formerly Escenic AS). Through the Fredskorpset exchange programme I spent ~15 months in Oslo working closely with stakeholders, product owners and senior architects. In 2019 I joined Banglalink as a Chartered Engineer running data platforms, and today I build scalable, easy-to-operate systems at IKEA.

  Apr 2019 – Oct 2021 · Dhaka, Bangladesh

  Designed scalable data warehouse solutions and integrated data from DWH, CMS and other sources. Built customer profiling for 34M+ telecom users and captured real-time / near real-time user events using Apache Kafka, Ignite, Spark and Spring Boot. Started as Lead Engineer before being promoted.

  Built robust, scalable web applications and APIs in a cross-functional, multicultural agile squad. Handled requirement analysis, end-to-end release cycles and close collaboration with product owners and customers. Java, REST, AngularJS, TypeScript, Node.js, SSE, Solr, Tomcat, Nginx.

  Jan 2014 – Feb 2015

  Led a small agile team building the CCI Stories, Pages and eReader (eNews) Android apps for the NewsGate system — requirement analysis, system design, feature development and Distribution Server compatibility fixes.

  Developed features for the Escenic web CMS engine and plugins with a distributed team, working extensively with RESTful services, Atom Syndication and Publishing Protocols, plus release management and deployments.
